BI.KRE. S.A.

The Chatzigavriilidis family began its involvement with meat in the 1970s by opening its first butcher shop in Amisiana, Kavala. In the following decade, a new butcher shop in the city of Kavala was added to the family’s activities.
In 2002, “CHATZIGAVRIILIDIS THEMISTOCLES MEAT PROCESSING INDUSTRY SOCIETE ANONYME” was founded with the distinctive title “BI.KRE. SA”, one of the most modern industrial meat processing units in Greece. In a very short time, the increased demand and the upward trend made it necessary to relocate the company to larger premises. Thus, since 2011, BIKRE has been operating in privately owned facilities in Amisiana, Kavala.
Today, the company has a production unit in Amisiana, Kavala, with an area of more than 8,000 sqm, and a branch in Athens to serve the regions of southern Greece. The company employs approximately 200 people. The sales of VI.KRE. S.A. products are not limited to Greece but extend to most European countries.
