Domaine Costa Lazaridi

Drama is undoubtedly one of the regions that played a leading role in the renaissance of Greek wine and in building its reputation. Kostas Lazaridis, “patriarch” of Drama wine-making, revived the viticulture of the region when in 1979, he established the first organized linear vineyard in the prefecture and in 1992, he created the Kostas Lazaridis Estate in Adriani, envisioning Drama as a “City of Wine”.
The company began with 100 acres and today a total of 3,000 privately owned acres are cultivated, across 4 locations in the region of Drama and 1 location in Attica. Each one presents its unique characteristics, utilizing its terroir’s different soil and climatic factors.
The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of integrated management Agro 2.1, while the vineyard in Attica is cultivated and certified according to international organic standards. The entire production is exclusively vinified in the modern facilities of the Estate in Adriani and Kapandriti.
