ODRYSES WINERY

The Odryses winery is located in Kornofolia, Soufli, in the center of the Evros regional unit, and is a family business. Its vineyards are located on the edge of the Dadia forest, at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains with its unique and purely Thracian microclimate, where harsh winters follow hot summers.

Particular emphasis has been placed on planting local varieties (Mavroudi Thrace, Pamidi, Damiatis, etc.), as well as Greek (Assyrtiko, etc.), and cosmopolitan varieties (Syrah, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, etc.).

Only grapes from our organically cultivated vineyards are used in our winery, from which we also supply collaborating wineries.

In the winery, we get wines through natural extraction without using a press.

Red and rosé wines are produced, as well as the famous local distillates! All red wines age in 500- and 225-liter oak barrels. After bottling, they mature for a long period in the bottle.

Part of the winery’s production is exported abroad and the rest is distributed in many locations in Greece.
